Video of the Emanuel Cleaver ‘spitting’ event is up on the web, and it’s just like we expected. The video proves that Cleaver is a pathological liar.
Where do you even begin?
First, there was no spitter – not as Emanuel Cleaver described it. There was an elderly man who was shouting at the passing delegation with his hands cupped so he could shout over the noise. You can see the accused spitter in mid-yell as Cleaver recoils in a Seinfeld-esque reaction. The video is such a far cry from the events Cleaver described that it’s impossible that he wasn’t trying to mislead people.
Second – and this is a really remarkable chain of lies that’s worth following – the Capitol Police had to ‘correct’ Cleaver’s story at least three times:
1. Cleaver’s office initially stated that the ‘spitter’ was arrested. The Capitol Police said this wasn’t true.
2. Cleaver’s office said the ‘spitter’ was detained, but that Cleaver declined to press charges. The Capitol Police said this wasn’t true.
3. Cleaver’s office said that Cleaver was asked by the Capitol Police to identify the detained spitter, and he declined to because he didn’t want charges to be filed. This also isn’t true – the Capitol Police said he “couldn’t” identify, not “wouldn’t”. It’s an important distinction: you can see Cleaver returning to the scene less than thirty seconds after the incident, looking around to try to get the ‘spitter’ arrested. The man was right in front of him. And Cleaver couldn't find him.
How many times does Emanuel Cleaver have to be publicly corrected by the Capitol Police before he gives up and tells the truth? The world may never know.
Third – the incident happened right in front of a police officer, who didn’t do anything. That should say something on its own.
Fourth, a number of the individuals traveling with Cleaver had cameras and were recording the protest. You can see a few of them putting cameras right up in the faces of protestors, including the accused ‘spitter’. It seems like they had proof in their hands that Cleaver was lying, and decided to sit on it.
There’s only one conclusion: Cleaver invented a racial incident to try to keep people from talking about his bad votes. The events that he described to the media and to the public simply didn’t happen. There’s no way of getting around it. If it was true it would be a terrible thing, but it wasn’t. If anything, that makes his lies even more egregious.
If there is a Satan, he's in full command of this country, the media, the Democrat Party, and so on. Absolutely unreal. We live in extraordinary times and our founding fathers are likely glad they're dead.
