Russ Carnahan, tired of endless debate over an unpopular health care bill, took the bold move of announcing a new bi-partisan platform for health care reform.
Just kidding.
They don't call him Rubber Stamp Russ for nothing.
Congressman Russ Carnahan admits he doesn't know where health care reform stands -- but he'll be watching the State of the Union tonight to find out.
Well, the State of the Union came and went. And still nothing from ol' Rubber Stamp. Instead of trying to solve the problem, all he has done is offer useless platitudes about how people want solutions. People might also want Congressmen who have solutions. But hey, we're sure whatever solution Obama, Reid and Pelosi cook up will be good enough for Russ.
Patrick Tuohey of the Missouri Record delivered a stinging criticism:
One gets the impression that Carnahan will vote however he is told, but since no one has told him what to do, he just sits patiently . . . Whatever the solution, Missourians can be confident that none of it will originate with Rep Carnahan.
Arrest that Traitor, try him and then when found guilty hang that Communist son of a bitch!!
