Not too long ago, Ike Skelton signed up Scott Charton for communications work. He's a long time AP reporter who made the natural leap from the Missouri media to liberal politics.
It's mostly unremarkable - except that he's also writing a book about Ike Skelton. Skelton won't be the first person in the world to hang around with a biographer, but given Charton’s other official duties we don't think communications director is an accurate title. A better (albeit outdated) title would be "Campaign Minstrel".
Will he follow Skelton to press events, playing a lute and rhyming about how Skelton and Pelosi voted for cap-and-tax?
