News out today includes Democrats making the case for Susan Montee for Lt. Gov (please God no!), how roads and bridges in Missouri suck (nothing we don't already know), and a will-they / won't-they with FEMA over funding to Missouri's natural disasters that have ravaged the state for months now.
In the mean time, you should read this Op-ed from David Brooks about American exceptionalism (or lack thereof) and what our country must do to get on the right track. It may be from the New York Times, but it's a great read none-the-less.
