Now the Dooley campaign has recommitted itself to excellence over the internet, by sending GOTV (get out the vote) tweets to supporters telling them to vote on the wrong day.
From the St. Louis Beacon:
St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley, or someone in his campaign, unwittingly demonstrated the dangers of Twitter with this item a few minutes ago: "Vote Dooley! Nov. 3 & in today's STL Business Journal Poll."
The election is Nov. 2. No doubt, Dooley's Republican rival, Bill Corrigan, would love it if Democrats showed up at the polls a day late.
Later, the Dooley campaign corrected its Twitter, which now correctly cites the right election date.
Well done as usual, Charlie Dooley.
With a strong Republican challenge, it's a little bit surprising that Dooley's campaign hasn't gotten around to figuring out which day everyone votes on.
What internet abomination should we expect next from his campaign?
