KMOX is reporting that T.D. El-Amin will be sent to a minimum security facility on Maxwell Airforce Base in Alabama. FPC Montgomery was named one of "The 12 Best Places to Go to Prison" by Forbes.com because of its vocational training program, which includes courses on how to be "cooks, housekeepers, paralegals and painters." He'll spend 18 months there.

The bottom line? El-Amin was corrupt, and elected officials need to know - just as everyone else does - that you cannot violate the law and escape the consequences. An increasing number of Democrat lawmakers in Missouri seem to be learning that lesson.
