The election law violation occurs when the person votes twice. Does 'The Source' have any intention of doing follow-up research and a story telling us these people actually voted in both locations? I doubt it!

The intent of the original article was to encourange the Star to ask for reform on how voter registration lists are maintained:

The "fault" in this likely is not Zieman's but rather the Kansas City election board that likely failed to inform Johnson County, KS about Zieman's new registration.

The followup to check of voter history will be done, but not likely for several months. The cost of voter registration data in Missouri is $127 while it's $200 in Kansas.
